All children deserve the safety and security of a home.
Thousands of Haiti’s most vulnerable girls have been uprooted from their homes. Whether driven by poverty, the death of a parent, or a natural disaster, they find themselves living and working as domestic servants in homes they can never call their own. They endure hunger, loneliness, and the threat of human traffickers.
We can help. Haiti Now is building a safe house dedicated to their long term empowerment of restavek girls. In its walls, we will provide an accelerated education, health care, emotional support, mentoring, arts, sports, and healthy socialization with peers and adults. Our goal is to provide the comprehensive support needed for restavek girls to build healthy and financially secure futures, all under one roof.
